The style of music at Immanuel may generally be described as traditional Anglican, and the choir plays an important role in worship. the choir's repertoire consists of many beautifyl and uplifting four-part hymns and anthems, with notable sucess in tackling some difficult pieces.

The spirit of the choir is strong, and a sense of accomplishment and enjoyment prevails. Junior choir members receive modest pay, based on their attendance at practices and services.An extra payment is made for weddings.

Members practice on Friday evenings from 7.30pm - 9pm, in church. The organist and choir master is David Lane.
